What is the deal with all the girls around here putting feathers in their hair? My wife says that I need to buy some on ebay and she can start her own business. I think that might be a good idea since she brought my 8yr old daughter and her American Girl doll to the salon and shelled out 45 bucks for 3 feathers. Two for my daughter and one for the doll.
Come on, 1 for the doll? Somebody is getting rich off of this new fad. Maybe we do need to invest in some feathers. Maybe buy a couple of peacocks and a few emus and put them in the back yard.
I did look up hair feathers on ebay and they aren't cheap. I heard the prices are going up because the feathers were used for fly fishing flies and now the new fad is causing a shortage.
I knew we should have got that parakeet for Christmas.
